About Rand Wall

Rand is no stranger to hard work. His father taught him the value of a strong work ethic early in life. As your advisor, he puts that work ethic to good use - providing a level of service you can depend on to find solutions for all your insurance needs.

A native Texan, Rand R. Wall, CLU , ChFC, RHU earned his BA (Business Administration) degree from Baylor University in 1975, his Chartered Life Underwriter ( CLU ) degree from the American College in 1980, his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) degree in 1984, and his Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) degree in 2007. Rand initiated his insurance career in 1975 as a group insurance specialist with Mutual Benefit Life, and after gaining experience in Estate Planning with Cigna, Rand co-founded Heritage Planning Company in 1981 as an independent insurance broker. Rand is now Chairman and founder of Lone Star Health Plans Ltd ., one of the largest employee benefit firms in Texas , with thirteen partners. His areas of expertise include Employee Benefits, LIFE Insurance, Pension (401k) Plans, Business and Estate Planning, Cafeteria Plans, Mutual Funds and Payroll Deduction Products. He is also a registered representative for Royal Alliance Associates, Inc..

Rand and his wife, Debbie, have been married for over 30 years and currently live in Sugar Land , TX . Their older son, Ben earned his CPA degree and Chartered Financial Analyst degree and now works for Texas A & M Foundation. Their younger son, Cody is a graduate of University of Houston with a degree in Psychology.  He now helps Rand with Auto and Homeowner's Insurance at Nationwide Insurance Company. Rand and Debbie are members of First Baptist Church Houston. Rand is an avid golfer and tennis player, and loves snow skiing.

Rand has earned the Golden Eagle Award for the past 8 consecutive years from the Leading Producer's Round Table (LPRT) of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). The Golden Eagle Award is the highest recognition bestowed upon an individual who has demonstrated professional excellence in the sale of health and disability income insurance. NAHU, founded in 1930, represents health and disability insurance professionals throughout the United States and Canada . NAHU members serve the health insurance needs of over 100 million Americans.

Rand is also a Past President and Trustee Emeritus of the Houston Association of Health Underwriters (HAHU), and was Secretary of the Texas Association of Health Underwriters for board year 2005-2006. These professional organizations are chartered by the National Association of Health Underwriters with over 18,000 members.
